Biography

Born in 1995, Megan is a self taught artist born and based in Northumberland.

Megan grew up surrounded by the hills, moorlands, forests and coastlines of the beautiful Northumbrian countryside, which instilled within her an enduring love for the area and landscapes in general.

Megan intuitively uses oils to convey a sense of space and light in her work. Oil paint provides the rich, earthy tones that are so evocative of the landscapes she loves. Her work focuses on capturing the transient atmosphere and play of light upon the landscape she visits.
